IN THE NEWS: Alexander Stafford asks for reassurances about workers safety

Alexander Stafford has asked for reassurances about the safety of workers as the lockdown continues to be eased.

The Rother Valley MP is part of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee who questioned Prof David Heymann and Dr Adam Kucharski from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine about what could be learned from other countries on how to ease lockdown to get the economy going while keeping people safe.

Following the meeting, Alexander Stafford said: “Businesses and workers alike are keen to get back to work and return to normality, which will put more money in workers’ pockets and will allow businesses to retain their staff."
