Doncaster Central Conservatives were pleased to welcome another new member recently. Gareth Shanks was a prominent member of the local branch of UKIP but he declined to renew his membership saying; ‘as much as there are many good people within UKIP, I was horrified by the party leadership's constant refusal to deal with people using “being anti politically correct” as an excuse to attack Muslims, gays, immigrants and “EU traitors”.
